Millions of youth golfers playing the game

The future of golf looks bright — in part because so many current golfers look young. Courses saw a 24% increase of youth golfers in 2020, which was the biggest increase since 1997 — and the numbers remained steady in 2021. On top of that, there were 18% more rounds of golf played on courses in 2021 than the pre-pandemic average from 2017-19, according to Forbes.
